The cabins are clean and comfortable. This is a great starting spot to explore western Montana . We will be back again. Phil and Jeanne were great!
We have stayed at the Black Diamond every fall for years. Phil and Jeanne are like family, and treat everyone as their family. They are the nicest people and the guest ranch has never been run down or in need of repair. I would hope that people realize they have a life also. THANK YOU, PHIL and Jeanne. SEE you soon..
We spent 2 nights in August 2006 and couldnt have hoped for a cabin with better amenities. A true Montana style cabin at the foot of the Lolo National Forest. Phil and Jeanne (owners) were so friendly and accommodating. They even asked us to stay on well past check out time at no additional charge, "just for the company"!
The game room is well equipped with Satellite TV, plenty of VDOs, foosball, a pool table and several board games. Cabins have TV/ VCRs, only for watching VDOs (no TV signal). 4 adults and 1 child easily fitted into the cabin.
We wanted to ride the Hiawatha trail and Phil transported the bikes (that we rented from him) both ways ways for just $10.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for accommodation in this area (20 miles east of the Idaho- Montana border).
'GROUPS ARE INVITED' we have wonderful accommodations and affordable prices and discounts.
